Having been met as promised by one of Yousef's workers outside of The Shneller school promptly at 9am we then followed him & his little red motorbike for the next 30 minutes with confidence, it then became apparent when he started stopping at every person he went past & they started pointing in different directions that he couldn't actually find where exactly the container was. Several phone calls later & another 30 minutes we arrived next to our container.
The truck/car/van whatever you'd like to call it went into the container no problem, there was a moment of tension whether it would fit height wise but Gary just had to take off one of the bike's from the roof & put it inside the car. All very simple & very efficient, I think the only other moment of tension was when the time came for the forklift truck to raise the container 2 meters off the ground in order for it to be put on the lorry, it certainly had it's work cut out for it with black smoke bellowing out the back & the wheels lifting off the floor the weight of our car was just about it's limit, it was quite hard watching your home & transport being lifted off the ground by a very unstable forklift.
Waving goodbye to our car/home felt very odd, it will be a real relief when we see it again in 20 days in India, fingers crossed.
So we are now in a cheap hotel until 9Th July when we have flights booked for India.
Amman doesn't have too much to offer as far as sightseeing goes but plenty of shopping & great restaurants, I am not quite sure how we are going to entertain ourselves for the next 9 days but maybe it will bring some surprise maybe not.
I am definitely going to take advantage of the wifi & upload as many photo's and video footage as possible to the blog so keep looking & again we love your comments so keep them coming.
